Biblical Ballet
Ballet provides a solid foundation for all types
of dance. Students will be taught development of basic ballet
exercise for feet, legs, hands and arm extensions. In Biblical
Ballet the names of the feet and arm positions have been
changed. The new names represent certain scriptures in the
Bible. Ballet teaches coordination, musicality and the proper
method of turn out, while developing and strengthening muscles,
improving posture and grace, and building a strong visual
memory. Slow and fast exercises are performed at the barre, in
the center of the floor, and progressions across the floor. |
